Date Night

Denis and I went to see “In The Heights” at the Pantages Theater in Hollywood over the weekend. First we had dinner at Musso & Frank Grill, one of the oldest restaurants in Los Angeles (since 1919) – I think we had one of the original waiters!  I’m pretty sure I recognized him from the Last Supper. 🙂 But the food was good.  There’s really nothing like seeing a live show and this one was really good.  The highlight of the night?  I actually wore a dress.  There’s no photo of my in my dress but here’s a pretty picture from my garden.  And now a quick game of $10,000 Pyramid:

  • ~ A daisy in bloom.
  • ~ Jenny in a dress.

The category:  Things we won’t see again until next spring.

Are you trying to play a game with us Jenny?
If so my answer would be…are you ready?

Squirrels stealing apples from an apple tree…

Jenny, funny thing. My sister and brother-in-law have date night too. My sister and her husband will be married 25 years next month. I guess it happens when you’ve been together for so long…
How long have you and Denis been having date night? I think it’s cool couples do that. I’m sure it helps the relationship/marriage…
Oh and Jenny I love your picture. Flowers are usually pretty reguardless, but the way you snap a photo, it seems you put an extra touch to it to make it sooo pretty. You really are good with your camera 🙂
    One more question…
Did you happen to were a skirt or a dress you already had? Just wondering if you put the skirt you bought to good use by wearing it on a special night like “date night” with Denis…

Ok, Jenny…so where is the pic of you in the dress?? 🙂

    • Rhonda says:

You know Becky, I was wondering the samething…lol…
Could Jenny being playing hide and seek and making us look for it? 🙂
      just a thought…

      • Becky says:

That is quite possible, Rhonda….she’s a lil stinker!! 😉

I love the idea about the photo page….that’d be great!!!!

Also, I was wondering if there is a way for me to know when someone has replied to one of my posts? Do you know, Rhonda? I’m always afraid someone has said something to me, etc, and I don’t know and don’t reply back. Don’t want anyone thinking I’m being snooty!! 🙂

        • Jenny says:

It’s me, the “Lil Stinker!” I swear I am not hiding a picture of me in the dress, although it would have been a good idea. Next time, I will – I just didn’t take a photo because I didn’t shave my legs. Yikes!!

And Becky, all the comments are posted, just checked over first for offensive language. So everyone will always know if someone has replied to one of their comments.

I believe you Jenny. It’s just kinda confusing in what you said about the flower and you in a dress. The flower picture we see but no picture of you in a dress. That’s why we thought there was a picture of you in a dress but had no idea where it was…lol…
Let’s have some sort of scavenger hunt game to play that you make up. I really had fun with the mystery game 🙂
Oh and Jenny, I’m glad you monitor you blog 🙂

          • Becky says:

            Thanks, Jenny, err….LS.. lol

            🙂 too funny

        • Rhonda says:

She made the mystery picture game hard to figure out, so thats why I said what I said, but that’s okay Jenny it was fun playing 🙂
The only thing I can tell you Becky is just remember where you posted and go back to the topic. Write what post topic you posted at if you have too…
Dont worry about someone thinking youre snooty. Youre not being snooty. It’s not easy going through all post to find where you posted to see if anyone has posted to you. I can see where someone could get lost when there are this many post and topics…

          Take care,
          Rhonda

Thanks, Rhonda!!! That’s exactly what I meant, i.e., where I left off, etc. so that I could reply. I wish you could be emailed or something (notified) if someone has replied below you. Oh well, I’ll just keep checking all my posts!!! Thanks again, Rhonda.

            🙂
