Barbeque chicken pizza!

Any plans for the long weekend?

How about making my β€œwood-fired-oven” style barbeque chicken pizza? I just posted the recipe and video on the site.

You’ll need a pizza stone and wooden peel for that crispy wood-fired style crust, but you can also make it in a pizza pan (like my pepperoni pizza).

This is so good, I may never have pepperoni again.

And have a great long weekend, everybody! πŸ™‚

Sue, I listened to the song and it’s a nice song. It tugs at the heart because I still have my moments missing my Dad and these type of songs just get the best of me. The song brought tears to me eyes, but I enjoyed listening to it. Thank you for sharing it and good luck learning to play the song on guitar πŸ˜‰
If you all are driving please be more caution of your surrounding and look out for speeders and drunk drivers. Usually if I see someone swaying and not driving a straight line I get far away from’em, because most likely they are drunk…
You and Jenny and everyone else have a fun and safe Memorial Day weekend πŸ˜€

I bet this is de-lish! I don’t eat pork/beef/goat/lamb (or anything else with four legs), so this can be another great option, in my house. Thanks for sharing, Jenny! Oh, & Sue; where can I find your barbeque chicken taco recipe, on the site? I really want to try it.

    Take care, everyone.

You remembered!! πŸ™‚ I would recommend using Jenny’s homemade taco shells to start. I buy boneless skinless perdue chicken breasts. I cook them in the oven with water to make sure they stay real juicy. When they are fully cooked, drain the water and chop up the chicken into two or three inch strips. My barbeque sauce is 1/2 Kraft original and 1/2 clover honey. Pour the bbq sauce over them and let them cook under the broiler for a bit. (stirring them around so they all get glazed) Then it’s just shredded lettuce, diced tomato, vidalia onion and shredded cheddar.
If you try them please let me know how you liked them!! I can tell you they are delicious!! Happy Memorial Day! πŸ™‚

Funny thing we were talking about pizza the other day at work and most people in the conversation likes thin crust pizza but not me. I’m with you on the puffy crunchy edge pizza and your pizza there had a great crunchy sound, so I’m sure I would love it. Will have to make it and not share…lol…all mine…lol…
It’s a shame someone got the first slice of your pizza when you are the one who cooked it and that means you should have gotten the first slice…lol…find out who the finger thief is and restrict them to no more of your cooking for a month. I can just guess who that someone is who got a slice of your pizza without asking. I’m not saying names. You know who you are and I’m sure Jenny does too πŸ˜‰ j/k…lol…and yeah Jenny that’s just wrong…lol…
Great video and delicious looking pizza. Ending part is hilarious. You had me rolling…lol…
